Our VISION

To reveal a broader sense of community, defined simply by being human, by creating a spirit of belonging and shared connection, within and across communities.

Our MISSION
  • To build a "human pollinator pathway" across communities by partnering with Community-driven organizations to host an on-going series of Pollinator Gatherings and HIVE Conversations that provide opportunities for people to engage and connect - fueled by the arts, dialogue & collaborative ideas.

  • To provide robust professional development workshops to our partners on how to develop deep community understanding and how to transform the way they serve in response.

Vision
Creating a Human Pollinator Pathway
Two ways...
I. Pollinator Gatherings
for communities

Core to The HIVE's Mission is to foster and facilitate deep dialogue between individuals, within and across communities, around themes of simply being human, to create connection and a sense of belonging, opening people up to each other to ideate on ways we can build stronger community for all. All of our events are fueled by the arts, which open people up, and involve facilitated dialogue among diverse audiences and participants around meaningful human-centered themes.

II. PD Workshops for organizations to Understand, reimagine and transform

The landscape is changing and evolving for many community organizations. There is a need to understand their community's needs at a deeper level and use that understanding to transform how they serve which requires new skills.

EXCITE Transformation workshops have been used across 50+ multi-national businesses as well as over 64 community organizations to train staff in the critical skills that allow them to gain this deeper community understanding as well as core skills in true collaboration and innovation required to successfully reimagine and transform.

DPS workshops have been taught worldwide and can teach organization leaders how to deepen their personal performance and approach to leading using the Heart-Mind-Body techniques and mindsets of high-level classical pianists and performers.
